Our love of Japan has led me to experiences beyond our wildest dreams, travelling to Kyoto, meeting geisha and bringing them to the UK was the start of The Festival of Japan.

Richard uses technique and methods handed down by the late Morihiro Saito Sensei 9th Dan to his teacher, Sensei Tony Sargeant 6th Dan Aikikai, and Principal of TIA Europe.
Richard's teaching is also coloured by several years of Tai Chi study, emphasising internal stregth into his Jo training and practice.
Richard regularly teaches Aiki Jo and Aiki Ken seminars at Shinsei Dojo.
